Terms of Use

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These terms apply to the Just Remote app for Android (“the app”), developed by CacaoBob Apps (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Using the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows. The app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

Just Remote Pro

Some features require Just Remote Pro, which is sold through Google Play as:

The prices, the length of any free trial and the other details are shown in the app before you buy. If a subscription comes with a free trial, it turns into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then.

You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or from Settings in the app). Pro stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.

Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies. Pro is tied to your Google Play account: use Restore purchases in the app to turn it back on after reinstalling or on a new device.

Apple and Google

Just Remote is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Apple Inc., Google LLC, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., LG Electronics Inc., Roku, Inc. or Amazon.com, Inc. Apple, Apple TV and tvOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Android, Android TV, Google TV and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC. Samsung is a trademark of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Tizen is a trademark of The Linux Foundation. LG and webOS are trademarks of LG Electronics Inc. Roku and Roku TV are trademarks of Roku, Inc. Amazon, Fire TV and all related marks are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

An Android TV needs Google’s Android TV Remote Service on the TV. Apple, Google and TV makers may change their devices or software in ways that affect the app, and we can’t guarantee that every Apple TV, Android TV, TV box, system version or app works with it.

Your content

The names, links, HDMI input names and settings you add stay on your device and are yours. You are responsible for the links you add, for using the app in line with the terms of the services you open with it, and for pairing it only with TVs you are allowed to control.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device or network.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. If we change the terms, we will update this page and the date at the top; continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the developer’s country of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country requires otherwise.
